God's Love Letters to You

I was really excited to receive God's Love Letters to You. I thought this would be a great devotional, however, I was disappointed.  I did enjoy reading the letters.  I like the presentation of the letters, as though God was talking directly to me.  Each letter begins with a passage of scripture and closes with a prayer.  Though I wasn’t able to use it as a devotional, I did find it to be pretty motivational.  When I have had a bad day, I like to re-read some of the letters.  I wouldn’t recommend this if you are looking for a forty day devotional.  However, this would make a good motivational read.
